Model for geoscape for corrupter

Hi all,

At the moment, we can't incorporate Corrupter UFO in game because the model we have has too many vertices (it has more than 4096 vertices).

Could someone work on the model we already have to reduce the number of vertices?

Here is the source file (well, I think it's the good one as I can't open .obj file):
http://ufo.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/ufoai/ufoai/data_source/models/geoscape/ufo_corrupter.obj?view=log

Thank you

If you want have it converted to MD2 let me know.

Willem

Edit : I put the md2 also in the file, look if you can use it.

There are a lot of double panels in the model it can be an problem with the engine ( does not know what render first ). , is it made with brushes ?

BTAxis:
It probably was. I think the Corrupter was originally converted to a model from a map template. The same will probably happen with the Bomber.

Mattn:
maybe it would be better to redo the model but keep the shape as is?

Mattn:
haven't the uv map changed too? or can we still use the old texture?
