Adding .bsp files to the svn ??

(1/1)

Duke:
Forum search revealed a lot of "&nbsp"s for "map .bsp svn".

It just took me some 25 minutes to compile the bunker.map alone (on an outdated 2.6 GHz single-core machine). Downloading the resulting 7.5 MB file would be much faster for me.

Just a thought:
Would it be a good idea to add the .bsp files to the svn ??

BTAxis:
We have a map-get script in the contrib folder. Use it to download precompiled maps.

bsps will never be added to the SVN.

Duke:
Ok.
Dclicking map-get promtps me (on Window$) to select an application with which to open it.
What am I supposed to select ? (wiki doesn't reveal anything)

BTAxis:
It's a python script. You'll need to install python for it to work.

Duke:
Thx.
