Contralable air combat and other aircraft features

In the first X-Com(I only have the first) air combat was controled by a simple selection of options, I don't know if that is unpopular or not but something like that would make air-combat easyier. Also what about air raids and some air units in combat. Lets say ther's a combat mission or a crash landing and I don't wan't to have to deal with all the enimes; of corse factores such as civilion death and chance to hit should be inplemented. When I land a small (possiblie group) UAV aids in combat by spoting and maybe hiting targets. Also Joint missions such as e.g. In bigger maps maybe have it so that more than one group(player or npc) can fight.

Air combat in 2.2.1 is very limited.  There will be a whole new air combat system in the future with the ability to direct some aspects of combat.  It will include UAV's, pilots, and many other features.
It will be far better than the original xcoms air combat.
