DLing at the moment, just a question:

Muton: "W2k+XP store gamefiles as user at C:\UFOAI-2.3-dev"

Must I put the game there or can I install it to another drive? Problem is that my C: is pretty full all the time.

Andy - 20 minutes to go

Game only, no Radiant, no sources
W2k support
incl. all needed dll's
no Admin right needed to install and uninstall

If you install as user, I suggest to install at
W2k\XP C:\UFOAI-2.3-dev
Vista\7 C:\users\public\UFOAI-2.3-dev

ufoai-2.3-dev-28207-Debug-pentium3-O1-sse-7z-small-win32.exe

I dont want to upload the whole thing for hours just 4 a handful files

To update download and run the ufoai_28213.exe ( self extracting 7z archive )
and extract it over your current installation of UfoAI ( C:\UFOAI-2.3-dev )
replace any file
done

ufoai_28213.exe

Oh dear. I've just installed this build over the previous one supplied and it's removed all my previous saves. This didn't happen when installing the 28338 build over the 28213. Luckily I had my latest save backed up in a bug report. Anyone installing may want to do likewise.

that's an option in the installer afair (for uninstalling, you can chose to also delete the save- and logfiles)

Unfortunately not so, the only options are what to install and where. No mention of retaining or overwriting saves or logs. The other builds didn't either btw.

It's no big deal, this is beta testing after all and I have my most recent save. Just an FYI for anyone else looking to install it. :)

Not an option when uninstalling? Just a guess...

Any chance of seeing some kind of log file so that we can know what was changed/fixed?

It worked fine for me. :P I installed over previous version and told it not to remove savegames? They are still there.

Only other prob I had was with the intl.dll file. Had to copy it over from radiant folder - working again now..  ;)

hi all im new.
i used this version http://www.destructavator.com/92dl/ufoai_win32_r28412.exe but i used the intl.dll from Muton last version in this topic.i want ur opinion because i cant use reaction fire in both saves from muton in destructavator version or the clean install from destructavator.is there a solution,do i do something wrong?or the muton s intl.dll that i puted in destr can cause this and i need from destr the intl.dll?

p.s. i used from radiant the intl.dll same problem.so i guess it isnt the intl.dll.any 1 to help?:Pdo u have it also?

SOLUTION i found it in some other topic
u have to go to ur target near the gun(left down corner) and put in snap shot circle a check and then press the reaction fire ......
sorry to trouble u.....
