Win32 Development Binary Installer Links
assemblerhead:
Newbie Here ...
Tried the http link for the download of the newest stable on the front page. ( v2.5 )
It is always a corrupted download for me. ( MD5 not matching either )
Is FTP or RSYNC a viable download option? I need a download protocol that does ECC.
The git clone also comes up with a compression error and aborts when attempting to get the source.
NOTE : I think it is something on the TCP/IP route that is causing the problem with http downloads.
DarkRain:
No, I'm not aware of FTP or rsync options for the installers
Did you try one of the alternate options for git clone?
assemblerhead:
Thanks for the response.
-------------
Yes, I did try the alternative git clone.
Tried the bittorent seed file in Deluge / Linux. Deluge claims this is not a valid seed file.
Can't do the rest of the clone without the "seed" download.
Will try a few other bittorrent clients to see what happens.
[UPDATE]: other bittorrent clients are stating that that seed file is not "bencoded". Meta data audit tools refuse to "access" the file. ????
DarkRain:
Guess the .torrent file got corrupted, as it works here, (but there didn't seem to be any seeders when I tried it)
If getting the repo via rsync doesn't work then I don't know what to say, besides trying the download in some other network...
assemblerhead:
Thanks for the response.

The rsync attempt winds up timing out.
I am beginning to suspect my ISP. Looks like I am stuck until I change ISPs.
