Win32 Development Binary Installer Links
Destructavator:
OK, it's finally here!
This is an installer in RELEASE compilation mode:
http://www.destructavator.com/92dl/ufoai/ufoai_2_3_dev_win32_r29905.exe
If you want the DEBUG version, I have the executable EXE files and Game.DLL files in a separate, small package here, just replace the files from the main installer:
http://www.destructavator.com/92dl/ufoai/binaries_r29905.zip
This should allow anyone to run both release and debug versions of the game.
Please note that if you intend to report bugs, it is recommended that you use the DEBUG files, thank you.
Mattn:
thanks a lot
Destructavator:

Another in RELEASE mode, from the newly created 2.3 branch.
I don't have separate binaries for DEBUG available at the moment, but when I can get to it I'll build and upload those as well.
Please Note: This revision is past a savegame break, you will need to start over in a new game with this installer.
Aphex Ice:
Having a few problems with this 2.3 build on windows 7 (although have also tried on an xp machine and is also same) have tried compiling it myself to no avail, basically what is happening is loads the game and installs fine, but when loading first mission map it just freezes and locks up game then doesnt respond have tried leaving it for over an hour and still the same

my instalation drive has my user account as owner and security permissions to allow full control for my user
am running

also same on
Acer 6920 Laptop

HP nx6125
Windows XP sp3

any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated, I seem to remember a semi fix to a vista problem by changing the sound settings (was that for this?)
MCR:
Try this:
Start game.
Change resolution.
Exit the game.
Start the game again.
