2.2.1 building aircraft / using hangar for aircraft

w plane per SMALL hangar, is it?  ANd two + per large hangar?

In other words, in my HQ, let's say I need a dropship + 3 interceptors there...what sort of facilities will i need?  Will I need to elave one empty in order to produce the planes?

BTAxis:
Dropships will not fit in small hangars, so you need 1 large hangar per dropship. A large hangar is 2x2 tiles big. Interceptors go into small hangars, 1 interceptor per hangar, 2x1 tiles each. So for a dropship and 3 interceptors you need 10 squares of base space. There will also be 1x1 hangars for small unmanned craft, which will hold about 2 craft per hangar.

To produce a new craft, you will need an empty hangar (or available space in case of the unmanned craft).

Note that although the space usage for craft goes way up, the available space per base will also be increased. In addition, UFO hangars will be moved off-base. For more information read
