cannot intercept UFOs

Im running version 2.2.1 or 2.2 for win in my laptop. I equip my ships (both carrier and interceptors) with weapons and ammo. It all seems alright, but when I try to intercept an UFO a message pops up stating that I have not equipped weapons, ammo, or defense system is not operative... or somthing like that...

I know this has happened to a guy using MAC, but the problem was solved. I tried everything: reequip weapons, unload ammo and load it again, used different types of ammo, assigned and unassigned soldiers...  but it was useless...

I just cannot intercept UFOs neither shoot missiles from the base...it is so frustrating.
What can I do? Anybody with the same problem?

Could you post your 2.2.1 save game?

maybe we could see from there what your problem is.

I would do it gladly but there is a little problem: do not know where the saved games are stocked...  there is no "save" directory neither a ".sav" archive...  it is kind of weird.
Plus i have no idea on how to post an archive...  hehe that is even more weird ...

Little help if you are so kind?

The saved games are in your docset directory. I've never liked that arrangement, but oh well.

Nevermind... i found the save directory in documents and settings...and saw the attach thing...  hehe...
