how to fire.help!

sorry to ask that stupid question, but after i try 1 hour gaming and 1 hour web search, i still don't know how to fire or change to the "file model" .
my soldier can move and see enemy, and they attack me to death, and i can do nothing about that.
looked at the tutorial and found no clue.

you have looked at the tutorial "tactical mission"?

there is a part which shows you the primary attack buttons on the hud. your soldiers must have weapons of course

you must put a PROPER weapon - you cant for example use two assaoult rifles- check if a weapon is one or two handed and equip accordingly.
Dont forget about ammo-if the weapon is red it has no ammo.
To fire you click on the corsair top right to the weapon image in combat interface- than a firing mode pop out- you pick the type of attack and click on a bad guy.
