this is very tiring. I downloaded and installed the .deb and the error remains the same, can somebody tell me how do i uninstall the game and reinstall it?

Still waiting for data files... why to release source package without data files? Without data files im unable to make(easy) a package for my distro.... and unable to play.

You could extract them from the latest binary; if you want to modify them just unzip 'em. That's all make will do anyway.

Mattn:
i have them here - but the upload.sf.net ftp seams to be down - and i don't have a fast internet connection everywhere right now, because i've moved houses
