problems in the installation

Hi, i'm a linux masochist noobie who likes to compiles apps from source, im using ubuntu 8.04

i tried to install ufo from source and after jumping a lot of hoops i end up with this message:

Please unpack file ufoai-2.2.1-data.tar into /usr/local/share/ufoai

now... if i try to run ufo from the console the game doesn start.

can somebody help me, thanks :)

you are missing the game data - i think there is currently no data archive at sourceforge.net - i don't have the chance to upload one in the next few days/or weeks - or you have to use the svn or extract the pk3 from the installers

Arvenil:
Is game data diffrent for 2.2.1? Or is same as for 2.2.0?

If its diffrent then please add it to sourceforge when you will have a time;)
