finished story?

I am right if I say that the story is not finished?

I didn't found out where the aliens are from and how to kill them all but I saw the credits.

It is ok. But it is not ok, that a unfinished applications has 2.x version number. I am quite confused about that.

From what I know, the plans for the entire plot are done, but it hasn't all been programmed yet.

As for version numbers, the devs could answer that better, although I'm guessing the number is above 1.0 because the game is already playable at this point, even though it isn't finished.

The story is "done" in rough lines, but there's still a lot to color in.
