How do I capture aliens in 2.2??!!!

I've tried the stun rod, but the alien always just dies. I don't know what to do.

You're not also shooting them with your other soldiers, are you?

zontar:
When the situation allows I can hit them before I shoot them, but mostly they have already been shot.

Doctor J:
You're using 'Stun Charge' and not 'Double Charge', right?

zontar:
hmmmm...ok, that could be a problem. I'll try it without the double charge.
