Video Card Problem

I having problems with AI when I get to the site of the Alien attacks. I am running a Gateway laptop that is using a Generic PnP Monitor on Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset. I get to the attack site and after a minute or so of play, I get a video error and it stops the game. I would really like to be able to play this game as I sorely miss X COM and this is as close as anything I have ever seen in gameplay, but I haven't seen as much as I would like. Would I possibly need to download a driver? Thanks for the help. My OS is Windows Vista. The driver is listed above as a Mobile Intel(R) 945 Express Chipset and is up to date with any new drivers that can be downloaded.

try to change your video driver version
I used the newest video driver version the game will crash
when I install an early video driver version it works~!
