Theres no research going on until you enter the research menu.
How to reproduce:
- start UFO:AI and choose new campaign
- start any research, save the game and exit UFO:AI
- start UFO:AI load the savegame, make sure you didn't enter the research menu before (since gamestart)
- DO NOT enter the research menu and let some time elapse
- now go to the research menu and you will see there was NO progress
- reload the the savegame
- DO NOT enter the research menu and let some time elapse
- check the research progress again and you will see there was progress
Can someone verify this bug?
PS: Playing UFO:AI 2.2 on WinXP here.
