I seem to recall the soldiers in the original X-Com also had big heads, although not to the point of the soldiers in this game.  Before anyone complains, they should see how the soldiers in Apoc look....

I do not need the camouflage color to afffect gameplay. I use it to distinguish between different weapon squads...

Yeah i think that's actually more valuable.

Everone have huge heads. Even on the loading screen.

Currently the models in light armor have larger heads than the unarmed and the medium version.  I think the scale with these these two models is fine.

the year is 2084 right? so people evolved -  they rely more on their brains than muscules hence bigger heads

Midgets are renowned for their anti-alien fighting skills, due to their much lower probability of getting hit.
