Broken models --- help!

Bandobras:
I need your help, guys.

Some models, e.g. stun rod (base/models/weapons/stunrod), stun grenade, incendiary grenade and flare are broken. E.g. the stun rod is made of some loose triangles and has many holes in it, but looks quite intricate, anyway. They also usually do not fit into the Ufopedia (the best way to see them is for me rotating them by dragging in the Ufopedia after typing research_all on the console).

Is it the bug in the engine, model conversion tools or original models? How to repair them?

I dont find any bugs in 3DMax, Maya, Deep Exploration. Its engine problem, maybe.
How do you rotate them in the Ufopedia?

By dragging with the mouse. Could anybody please report the models are broken for them? This is most visible for me with the stunrod in the Ufopedia, after you type research_all in the console (~).

P.S. SVN trunk, but it's been that way for some time...

P.S.S. Or could you please try the same models (move them manually somewhere) in any older versions of UFO:AI? E.g. substitute for the Assault Rifle in x-mas release...
