first of all, really cool project you got here, feels very much like xcom and may become better than the original imho.
did a quick search on the thread's subject, but could'nt find anything, so here i go: would it be possible/applicatory to add a weapon, or at least ammo crate to the dropship?
or would it take too much of the need to plan your setup pre-fight?
