libc.so.6 version GLIBC_2.4 problem

Hi all, i'm using Ubuntu and recently installed UFO:AI.

When i try to launch the game, it shows me this error :
./ufo: /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6: version `GLIBC_2.4' not found (required by ./ufo)

But synaptic says that libc6 is already installed :/

My ubuntu installation comes with version 2.3.6 instead 2.4, so upgrading it has solved the problem.

Yeah I had to do the same, I was on Dapper Drake, and couldn't run ufoai until I upgraded to Edgy.   My opinion though I think dapper drake ran better than edgy, it sucks though that I had to upgrade to edgy in order to get my newest favorite game working.
