How do I determine a solidiers TU's when assigning?
« on: February 05, 2008, 08:18:31 pm »
I seem to wind up in battle with maybe one soldier with 30 TU's and everyone else with about 16. I can't see that speed is any indicator. Does weight slow them down at all? I'm playing v 2.2 and loving it. I hope the answer isn't too obvious to everyone except me. Thanks.

Wow, I've never seen a soldier with less than 30 TU.  What's the loadout for your soldier with the lowest TU?  Also, are you doing anything with reaction fire, since that can really eat into your TU count.

The first soldiers that you get have 29 to 31 TU, depending on speed. If you activate multiple reaction fire, this reserves 14 TU, which you can release by clicking the reaction fire button one more time (deactivates reaction fire).

TYVM That explains it. I was setting the reaction fire not realizing it would continue to cost points each turn. It makes sense that it would now that I think of it. Thanks again.
