no 3d objects in 2.2 beta

Hi
After trying the 2.1 version a few months ago, I just installed the 2.2 beta version, and I no 3d objects are displayed.
In the base screen, there's just black space where ships or soldier should be displayed, in battlescape there's only pink cones for soldiers and civilians.

My system:
Intel Core 2duo 6400/2, 13ghz
2 GB RAM
NVIDIA Geforce 7600 LE

That's because the developer forgot to include the models. He's aware of the problem, and said that there should be a fix out very soon.
