These would be excellent, worthy additions to the roster of facility options. For those who are not familiar with the concept, these facilities are essentially heavily fortified bunkers within the base equipped with several sentry guns focused on all entry points, and a layout that offers a decisive defensive advantage. Even if other facilities were themselves capable of featuring automated defenses, they would not offer the same advantageous configuration of the security station which is capable of multiplying the effectiveness of a garrison exponentially. While the sentry guns would start out featuring conventional machine guns, they would be upgradable as new technologies became available.
#2: Pre-scenario Soldier loadout and placement/deployment.
Because you have some advance warning of the impending base invasion, it should be possible to custom outfit and deploy your soldiers to advantageous positions. Not only is this reasonable, but it also affords the player a warranted additional degree of tactical control that would add to his overall experience.
