I think graphic style in this game must not be so realistic (anime style backgrounds as it was made in UFO XCOM must be included it's change humain perception.)

may be you all try to join your efforts to each other at creation of new GUI-style? :-)

There are three GUI-style at differents stage of draft.

And, don`t forget about translations, there is not any special fonts, and fonts shouldn`t be textured (or its should be textured in realtime, to include russian (cyrillic), chinese, thai, and so on)

So far SoulRipper's gui work looks the sharpest and most thought-through.
