you can have a lot more - it all depends on your optimization ;)

e.g. you can hide the lower floor brushes that are not visible from the upper floors by deactivating the specific levelflags

the relevant brush count is not in the editor - but in the game - set the cvar r_speeds to 1 to see the brush count in game (after you loaded your map of course ;) )

btw. which version are you using?

yes, if you are using trunk (2.3) you can use a higher brush count as you could use if you would use 2.2.x

and we really need mappers - if you have questions join the irc and talk to Richv or me - you can also read the wiki tutorials. but it often helps to ask a specific question and getting the answer right in the discussion - so use irc ;)

would be nice if you could create some maps for the game ;) hope to hear back from you (many people lose track after trying to get into mapping)

What optimisations allow higher brushcount?

are you just relying on my work, or Richlv's manly efforts? what other changes are there?

ok so my windows fraged up and i lost all that i had been working on but hearing you need maps i have started work on some new buildings

also im having more problems with my irc client so it will take me more time to get on to that but with the lose of all my maps i had been working on it will be some time till im back to the point where i will need to ask questions

on the plus side i am building new maps with a bit more experience so they should be better

just be patient it may take time but i will make some maps and map parts
