base invasion crash

getting a consistent crash every time there is a base invasion

the moment I press on the weapon fire options button, it crashes

running on ubuntu linux 6.10

there is currently no solution for this - we have a workaround in current developement version - but no real bugfix yet, sorry

I too experience the same problem on the windows 2.1 version which unfortunately ends my campaign.

Mattn can you confirm this is also true for the windows version.
I am currently downloading 2.2, what is the work around ?
autobattle ???

i don't think that autobattle will work for base defense. I'm sorry, but there is currently no workaround for 2.1.1

In 2.2 (dev version) this should be fixed now and finally work

but due to a lot of new features you have to restart your campaign. another problem is, that the installer on the beta site is quite old. If i find the time i will produce a new one today.

Hi. I´m playing UFOAI from last week and I have my first base invasion. But at the second turn, at the moment I try to shoot an alien the game crash with this message:

I'm using Win2K SP4 in an Athlon 1200 with 512 Mb RAM and GeForce 4 MX. Overall the game works amazing.

This bug is known. No fix for 2.1.1 will be made. This bug should be fixed in current trunk, that means new version, 2.2.0 won't have it. Sorry for the inconvenience.
