Aliens with human weapons?

Just lost my entire last post cause this forum is nuts , but here goes:

Aliens with human weapons, are they supposed to do it?  Downed harvester mission and they are consistently bringing grenade launchers, assault rifles and rocket launchers to take me down with.

I think this is a bug. I've never seen it myself. System? Version?

Version 2.2 (the latest one that was released as a news report on moddb), running on XP SP2.

I've only seen it on one mission so far, but they would do it over and over.  I could reload from before the mission or retry, and they would have human weapons when I went down.

Once as far as I could tell they just didn't actually bring any weapons at all (same mission).

And I thought I was going crazy. 

This happened to me twice but I thought it was just some new alien weaponry. Now I am sure those were terran ones.

I'm pretty dang sure I've been shot at with machine guns and sniper rifles too. Version 2.2

Had this as well, with a downed supply ship. I assumed they just grabbed some human weapons they were going to study, or something. I think I've also had some unarmed aliens.

this is still an open task for random created missions, there is just a placeholder equipment for the mission spawn functions in cl_campaign.c
