Setting up Matches

I want to have a match with someone at 4 pm on July 6th
the more people I get the more people for the match

You don't seem to realize that the people visiting this forum are in different time zones. "4 pm" means pretty much nothing.

There is also an in-game client - click "lobby".

sometimes you have to wait some time to find opponents. sometimes you can make appointments: "see you in around 2 hours".

Around the time most of the team working on this project is asleep.  All of the project leaders (I *think*, there might be an exception) are Euro.  I'd recommend banging around on the IRC channel via Pidgeon (or something) and doing other things until you got a game up.
