Where to get the missing dlls for starting ufo

you can grab them at

• http://www.libsdl.org/download-1.2.php (sdl.dll)
• http://www.libsdl.org/projects/SDL_ttf/ (sdl_ttf.dll)
• http://www.dlldump.com/ (search for iconv.dll and intl.dll)

or just download this package: http://www.files.lanas.de/ufo/dlls.zip

all these dll files need to be copied to the ufo-dir (next to ufo.exe and ref_gl.dll)

Just one more note:
the gamex86.dll needs to be placed in the base-folder - not in the ufo root directory

Hi,
I downloaded and installed 2.1.1 win version from file "ufoai-2.1.1-win32_hotfix2.exe". I am using win98 and got a 3D card.
When i run it, i get an error msg about a missing file related to ufo.exe, it says that shell32.dll:SHGetFolderPathA is missing. Any help would be appreciated.

i'm sorry to say this, but i suppose win98 support can only be obtained by compiling the sourcecode yourself

and deactivate the home dir feature

The error menssage in spanish is,

Program startup error
The file UFO.EXE is linked to a SHELL32.DLL:SHGetFolderPathA of exporting that doenst exist.



It also play another error window,
