Some questions and troubles and offering help

Hello, I'm playing UFO in MacOSX and I seeing some extrange things:
I can't see any text, for example in each weapon or in the UFOpedia I only see a word ended in "_txt"
Also I would like to help you but I don't know In what I could help. I'm Spanish and I have a good English undertanding. I also have a very little knowledge of programming in C but I think it won't help so, Can I help with any thing?

There are lots of ways to contribute, depending on your interests, like:

-The spanish translation needs improvement. See wiki for details.
-Artwork, Modeling, Mapping if you have 2D/3D design/graphics skills.
-Create music/sounds if you have experience with it.
-Test play the game and maps, esp. new features, write bug reports, give feedback.
-Participate in this forum, discuss and help to answer questions.
-Help improve the wiki.
-Tell your friends about UFO:AI ;-)

about the text thing.

you might have your ufoai.mo file missing

assuming you used an installer, ignore the trunk directory.

\src\po\<lang>.po

should be in the same dir as ufo.exe

Thanks, but only one thing, I'm using the Mac version, I tried It in Windows and all works perfectly, but in Mac the text don't works I checked inside the file and in there are two Spanish translations one called es and one called es_ES the two have the files and they appear to be perfectly...
