Missing Nano Armor

Hello guys,

Loving the game but I am having an issue in one of my campaigns (and unfortunately my most longest running one).

The issue is that I never brought back any "alien body armor" so I never go the option to study it and then study nano armor. I have nano armor on my other games, so I am aware of the path to get to it but on my main game the best I can equip is combat armor.

So I ask is there a work-around for this? will I find alien body armor again later in the game? I have already found medium alien armor and researched it, but it didn't allow me to proceed. Is there a console command that could help?

Failing this, I would also like to know if it's possible to move save games from one PC to another. If I can't get nano armor at home, I'd like to move the save games from my work PC to here :D

try this

-find \base\0ufos.pk3
-rename it 0ufos.zip
-unpack it
-edit research.ufo (it is a text file)
-find this "tech rs_nano_armour" bit
-delete
"
require_AND
   {
      tech rs_alien_body_armour
   }
"
-you can repack the *.ufo files, or put them in a directory "base\ufos\"

I have not tried this myself, but if it is a really dumb idea, I think someone will shout stop!
