2.2-dev: Cursor real slow
HaJo:
I compiled version 2.2-dev SVN 8854 on my debian-based linux-box,
(1.7 GHz), and the game is really slow:
The "loading"-splash screen takes about 2min40sec,
it takes 8-16 seconds from the moment I move the mouse a bit
until the cursor moves.
Even when pressing the "~"-key, it takes more than 10 seconds
until the console appears.
When I switch on the FPS-display with cl_fps,
it shows 3-14 FPS in the menu, 8-14 in geoscape,
when the cursor has this big lag.
The credits-animation plays a bit slow+choppy,
but still as an animation (7-9 FPS), so its not all bad...
Edit: same effect with SVN 8879.

Ok - but I don't see how just tracking the mousepointer
in a quiet 'scene' (like the menu) could be _that_ slow.
What can you suggest ?
