This is a very important point, and should definitely be noted.

Tamans have red blood with grey streaks in it, and Shevaar have red-purple blood.

Charlie:
Red for iron

Green for copper

Blue for some exotic compount, maybe cobolt.

Yellow is another good one.  The Phor had yellow blood, and giblets.  So did the andoroid from Alien.  No wait, he was white.  More important, are you going to make a lovely explosion of gore for when a skinny grey thing is hit by an RPG and blown into two?
