Hi.
I allready worked with a 3D Raytraycer and got some experience in
moddeling and texturing (doing textures with Photoshop 5).
I mapped für "Day of Defeat" (HL1 engine) too, so ill also try to make
some maps too.
Look this two examples:
Now i would like to support UFO AI by doing some models for you.
But i need some help, cause i downloaded milkshape 3D and this is
what i´ll use für modelling.
Can you look at the milkshape homepage to find out which export
format that milkshape offers is usable for the AI team ?

I never had to watch a special size or file format for fitting to others
modellers, or a game engines, needs.
Can i simply load models from the game on my HDD and load them?
An what polycounts / texture sizes at which object size do i have to usw ?

we really need mappers, too - we are currently finishing the implementation for ufo crash sites - and for this reason we need maptiles for our random map assembly - see http://ufoai.ninex.info/wiki/index.php/Mapping for more infos.
