Game freeze before first mission ever

I've downloaded and installed your good game, but unfortunately, the game freezes right before the first mission. I've played for about 5 minutes, then there is landed alien ship in USA, Revelstoke, I think. I click on my drop ship to make a mission, then everything freezes. Game doesn't respond. I play on normal difficulty.
Should I re- download game again and try to install it one more time?

Please give some technical details if you still have that problem.
Which version (esp. if from svn, did you compile the maps?)?
Which OS?
Also, any output (console/log files) could be interesting. Maybe look at the wiki for how to debug.

Redownloading/reinstalling is always worth a try, but I wouldn't bet on that.
