Sound/Music Files?

Just downloaded 2.1... did the full install with all options checked in the installer... even increased the volume in "options" (because they default at zero)... and its totally silent.  Are there sound or music files?  Is there something special I have to do to get the sound and/or music to work?

It's hard to tell what's happening, especially on the alien's turn, with no sound.

are you using windows? linux? change the sound driver to something other - the game console for more info

Windows... but I found the problem: my desktop shortcut was running the game in safe mode.  I had to start the game in regular mode for the sound to work.  It's fine now; thanks.
