Could not register Window Class

Hello!
I downloaded the windows installer of ufo 2.0rc4, but every time i want to start the game, i get this error popping up. i used the search function,  but got no results.

System: Win Xp Prof, ATI fire gl t2 dna driver, Centrino.

You mean, every time you run the installer, or the game? What is the error?

Same to me!
2Bandobras: on starting PROGRAM (ufo.exe), not INSTALLER.
(WinXP Pro+SP2, nForce2+FX5200 64MB, 512MB, Athlon 1.8)

I've downloaded ForceWare 91.47 from nVidia.com and installed it. The result was even worse! When I start ufo.exe it seems to work for ~10sec. - cursor changed, and after that my PC was performed POST! May be I should re-install Windows :?:  :!:  10x

I got thesame results on both my computers with old graphics cards Mobility Radeon 7500 and GForce4 MX. Both support hardware DX8. not DX9... i Know the game is in GL but what hardware is required?

What are the hardware requirements for this game? Where I can find them?
Is it anywhere list of checked configurations, and graphics card models ?

It is not very verbose, but at least a start. Any additional info and hint for various hardware is welcome.

this error occurs if you don't have the hardware accelerated video card drivers installed - the the faq in the wiki. windows can't create the opengl context with standard microsoft drivers - install those from the nvidia download page.

Shade that my Intel Pentiom 4 Mobile CPU 1.7GHz with 764MB RAM and Mobility radeon 7500 with XP32 is so old that UFO AI does not work.

Iv try run RC6 under W2K + NVIDIA GeForce 5500 + 1.7GHz Intel => and failed to. NVIDIA Driver 8.1.8.5 form 2005-10-10. This time error is due WINDOWS 2K I think.  The error during UFO start is :
"Ufo.exe generated errors and will be closed by system Windows" You need run again this application. The diary is beeing created."

After Graphics driver actualization the problem remains
Now I got v6.14.10.9371 NVIDIA 2006-10-22

Ufoconsole.log : is thesame as above

Something is missing or its too old - check this please.
