I Hate Vista.

Don't ask me why I'm currently using Vista, but I am. Not voluntarily.

I do believe Vista doesn't have Open GL Drivers and I do also believe UFO AI uses Open GL yes?

If so, bollocks. I'll have to wait till my desktop computer is repaired: which looks unlikely as of now.

i once tried ufo with vista - for my ati card there are opengl drivers - and i believe nvidia has some, too.

Yeah but there is also the slight problem whereby I have an onboard graphics card just now on this stinking laptop.

you definitly need opengl - if you only have a shared mem card this might be a problem - sorry

Laptop cards are relatively cheap if you go with the mobility series from either ATI or Nvidia. Its replacing them that's a bitch.
