When renaming a target soldier, if you haven't hired all of the soldiers in the available list preceding the target soldier the name will be incorrectly assigned to another person.
I had not hired several people due to low stats. When renaming another soldier to indicate strong attributes, the name was assigned to another person in the squad. Later, I noticed another renaming attempt had been assigned to an unhired person. further, in both cases the incorrectly changed person had been offset up the list by the same number as I had unhired personnel.
