if you wanna contribute and want to get write access to svn, the procedure is like this:

• submit a patch to patchtracker
  
• we´ll have a look at it and if it´s good and reasonable you´ll get write access to svn (you can e..g pick something from the bugtracker
  

^^all you need for write access to svn is a sourceforge.net account
