Quick Notes on using these sources to make modifications, etc. -------------------------------------------------------------- 1. I use Photoshop's layer blending features frequently. These don't load in Gimp, so editing will probably need to be with photoshop. (Also, I organize my levels with layer groupings which aren't preserved in Gimp, which will make things difficult). 2. I started getting into the habit of saving the grey-scale heightmap as a layer in the PSD file, so look there if there is no _heightmap file listed. 3. For animated texures, each animation "frame" is usually saved as a layer group that just needs to be shown/hidden over the basic texture. If each "frame" only needs one layer, it may not be in a group but should be named so that it's easy to tell. -- Nate (H-Hour)
