Description
I was rebuilding my automation around patching for my environment after a hard drive crash so I was testing with an empty mod branch and it caused a core because I went in and switch the environment to open UFOAI in a window instead of a full screen. And then I exited. The system cored and hung the screen. I assumed the issue was with my test patch, so I went back to the original ufo and it worked fine, and then I add the empty mod branch to it and it failed with the same crash. I then tried it with a populated mod branch and it suffers the same crash. So it appears that, we've got some sort of failure condition when we open with a mod branch and then exit out immediately as of commit 326e6fdea60333ea0c9a3d288dbbd8a3b78f76a4.
Steps to reproduce this issue
# Create an empty directory in the mods directory or use any existing mod if you have one.
# ./ufo +set developer 1 +fs_mod <what_ever_mod_you_want_to_use>
# Click to exit
