sometimes after a research is complettet all the
scientists will disappear from the research window,
they will still be shown as hired under in the hired
window though

the research screen shows 0 scientists working on projects
and 0 scientists idle, what i did was go into the hire menu
fire them all and then rehire them and they showed up on the
research page again

I don't think I've ever seen this bug. Possibly if you have
multiple bases each with a lab this behavior could be seen
(there are no doubt bugs involved with multiple labs across
two or more bases).

Further feedback would be appreciated (especially if the
original reporter could retest with more recent versions of
the game.. probably wait until RC6 is released though).

This bug is not in trunk or at least i failed to reproduce it in any case, no matter if i have multiple bases with labs or not. I am setting status of this bug to Pending, feel free to reopen if you hit.

Ooops, I forgot to answer you. The reason is I did not have much to say: I even could not reproduce this bug. Maybe it was even based a saved game from one revision with the executable at another revision.

That being said, thanks for the 2.1 release!
