Description
[http://sourceforge.net/p/ufoai/bugs/3458 Item 3458] imported from sourceforge.net tracker on 2013-01-28 20:10:24

In the 2.5 dev version downloaded on 1/2/2013, 10:40 PM EDT, there's a bug in the Equip Solder dialog. Editing a soldier's name and pressing ENTER causes the equipment display to enter an inconsistent state, where the displayed soldier name and equipment don't match.

To reproduce, do the following:
Start a standard campaign game (or the short game, same results), place the first base, and enter Aircraft->Soldiers->Equip Soldiers.
Select the first soldier (or any soldier, same result); see before_rename.jpg
Edit the displayed soldier name and press ENTER. The soldier's edited name is still displayed (see after_rename.jpg), but the displayed equipment has changed, and that soldier's name is no longer highlighted in the list at the left. In some cases, the soldier picture on the right changes as well.
